Ms. Altmann is an experienced family law attorney dedicated to advocating for her clients. She is admitted to practice in Minnesota state court and the  U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.

Ms. Altmann developed a keen sense for the courtroom as well as cooperative case management from practicing family law since her admission to the bar in 2007. She is experienced in working with family systems involving substance abuse, domestic violence and/or neurodiversity. As a small business owner, Ms. Altmann is also passionate about working with other business owners experiencing family separation and/or divorce and the sometimes unique challenges that brings.

Her experience is broad, but Ms. Altmann takes a fresh approach to each client’s matter while drawing from her depth of experience. She works closely with her clients to understand the relationship dynamics they are experiencing. Ms. Altmann recognizes that a client’s experience of their family law process is transformational, whether it is wanted or unwanted, and encourages the client’s values, goals and vision for the future to be a central focus in developing case strategy and process.
